There are a number of plugins offering significant improvements over the built-in search functionality:
- SimpleSearchPlugin
- SearchPlusPlugin (requires PreferenceSaverLib)
- SearchOptionsPlugin
- TwHelpSearchPlugin defines an alternative format for the SearchResults tiddler generated by SearchOptionsPlugin)
- YourSearchPlugin (also available as a bookmarklet)
The MatchTagsPlugin and GotoPlugin might also be noteworthy in this context.
In addition, Tiddle provides a desktop application for indexing TiddlyWiki documents.
